Her life became a new routine of hemodialysis and the peritoneal dilation. After an hospitalization of 80 days Angelica appeared to be dying after which she began a journey of recuperation. After one year and a half of dialysis, Angelica was able to undergo the biggest surgery in her life: a kidney transplant. Angelica's mother was the only person who was able to donate the kidney. Angelica Hale was able to undergo a kidney transplantation along together with her mother on 13th of September, 2013. The procedure was conducted at Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale's dream to be a superstar has never wavered.
